Job Description
Our client, is currently seeking a Principal Planner on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex and large-scale development projects and will be responsible for signing off delegated reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing detailed and strategic development proposals from inception to completion
Reviewing and signing off delegated reports
Providing expert advice on development management
Conducting site visits and assessments as required
Ensuring compliance with relevant planning regulations and legislation
Representing the organisation in meetings and public consultations
Managing planning application processes and formal objections
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in development management and town planning
Significant experience dealing with complex and strategic developments
Strong understanding of planning regulations and legislation
Excellent analytical and report writing skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in managing stakeholder relationships
Relevant degree in town planning or related field
Work Arrangement:
6-month contract
38 hours per week
