Principal Process Engineer - Warrington
12+ Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £63-£70 p/hr (Umbrella)
SC Clearance Required (or ability to obtain)
We're recruiting a Principal Process Engineer to lead technical delivery on high-profile nuclear sector projects, including work relating to reprocessed uranium (RepU). You'll guide multidisciplinary teams, act as a subject matter expert, and ensure engineering excellence across complex project scopes.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor engineers and technical specialists
Manage and deliver high-quality technical outputs
Oversee calculations, reports, analyses and specifications
Ensure compliance with safety, standards and procedures
Work closely with customers and support business development
Drive best practice, audits, and continuous improvement
What You'll Need
Engineering degree (or equivalent)
Chartered Engineer status
Strong experience leading engineering/analysis teams
Excellent technical communication skills
Background in complex industrial, nuclear, defence or similar environments (desirable)
