Location: Birmingham B15 Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Contract Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: £13.81
About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their high-performing team within the Protein Diagnostics Division. The Role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work in a laboratory-based manufacturing environment, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operate within a manufacturing laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
Support workload management and planning activities to meet production targets.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with cGMP requirements.
Contribute to process improvements and always uphold safety practices.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong communication and digital literacy skills.
Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Competence in using computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
Practical understanding of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to chemical hygiene protocols.
Manual handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kilograms.Education & Experience
GCSE level education (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience, OR a relevant degree.
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related fields.
Prior cGMP experience is desirable.
