As a Product Assistant, you will support the product team across all stages of new product development, from initial concept through to final production. You will also provide ongoing support for products already in production while ensuring all approvals, documentation, and sales materials are maintained accurately and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Form close working relationships with Category Managers and wider team members, developing knowledge of internal systems and understanding technical and production methods.
Accurately document competitor reviews, ensuring full understanding of their product attributes and market positioning.
Assist in delivering detailed product specifications for all new developments, including packaging.
Liaise with relevant licensors to ensure all new licensed products are fully approved at each stage of development, correctly using all required online approval systems.
Attend development and approval meetings, take notes when needed, and assist with setting up VC equipment for online meetings.
Maintain accurate product files in line with current systems, ensuring product progress is transparent and easily accessible.
Help prepare presentations of new product concepts for the sales team, including operating Teams cameras and providing meeting support.
Assist with sample requirements for displays, trade shows, and sales activities.
Maintain up‑to‑date Product Catalogues with accurate product information, including work in Adobe Photoshop (training provided if required).
Support the maintenance of product specifications on NetSuite.
Work with Design and Marketing teams to ensure new products are correctly represented in catalogues, TV commercials, and marketing materials, including assisting with copywriting.
Assist with preparation for trade shows, showrooms, and other displays/events. Skills and Requirements:
Must enjoy working with toys and be able to help conceptualise engaging gameplay based on the characteristics of a brand or character.
Well‑organised, diligent, and capable of multitasking effectively in a dynamic environment.

Ability to quickly assess situations, take initiative, and act accordingly to get the job done
