Production Operative
Location: Balmalcolm
Shift: 18:00–05:30 (set rota)
Pay: £12.21 per hour | Overtime £15.26 (after 38.75 hours)
Shift Allowances: Mon–Thu £8.97 per shift | Fri–Sun £12.66 per shift
Contract Type: Temporary
Pay Frequency: Weekly
We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join our client’s busy vegetable processing site in Balmalcolm. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a friendly team within a well-established food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sorting, grading, and packing fresh vegetables to site standards
* Operating basic production and packing machinery (training provided)
* Ensuring quality checks are completed accurately
* Labelling products and preparing goods for dispatch
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following all food hygiene, safety, and site procedures
* Supporting general warehouse and production tasks as required
About You:
* Able to work night shifts on a set rota
* A good team player with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
* Reliable and punctual
* Previous food production experience is desirable but not essential
