Job Title: PSV Technician
Location: Kings Lynn
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Pay: 19.73 per hour
We’re recruiting for a PSV Technician to join one of the UK’s largest public transport operators based at their Kings Lynn depot. This role offers great variety, a supportive engineering team, and the chance to develop further within a company that’s investing heavily in new vehicles, equipment, and technology.
Day-to-day duties of the PSV Technician include:
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out vehicle safety inspections and preventative maintenance
Attending breakdowns and supporting fleet recovery
Following company Health & Safety and operational procedures
Keeping accurate maintenance records and service documentation
Learning to safely operate the depot forklift (training provided)
Skills & Experience Required of the PSV Technician
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance / Engineering
Previous experience working with HGV, PSV, or similar heavy vehicle maintenance
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Flexible approach to shift work and occasional cover at partner depots
Full UK Driving Licence required
PCV Licence desirable – training will be provided if not already held
