Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician Location: Birmingham Salary: £12.71 per hour Job Type: Full-time | Site-based Start: Immediate or by agreement An established organisation working on live construction/infrastructure projects in the Birmingham area is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support site-based QA activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong documentation skills and a methodical approach who is looking to build experience within quality assurance. Key Responsibilities Completing QA forms, inspection reports, and quality checklists Recording and documenting daily site activities and works Reviewing material test certificates and calibration records Identifying, documenting, and tracking non-conformances Maintaining accurate and up-to-date digital records across internal systems Supporting the wider project and site teams with QA-related administrationEssential Skills & Experience Proven experience using MS Excel and MS Project Familiarity with digital control and document management systems, including: Procore Aconex R Drive or similar platforms Meticulous attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple records simultaneously Clear written communication skillsDesirable Previous experience in a QA, document control, or site-based technical role Background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projectsWhat's Offered Stable, ongoing work On-the-job training and exposure to quality systems and site processes Opportunity to develop QA experience within a professional project environmentTo apply, please submit a CV outlining your relevant experience.
