Job Description

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Winchester

Project Value: £35 Million

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Tier 1 Main Contractor with an annual turnover of approximately £850 million and a regional turnover of £100million. Renowned for delivering high-quality, skyline changing construction projects across the South, the business has built an outstanding reputation for completing schemes on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards.

With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a £35 million project near Winchester.

The Role

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project from inception through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career within a leading contractor known for investing in its people.

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry.

Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, hands-on approach.

The ability to work effectively within a project team and contribute to overall project success.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Adaptability, self-motivation, and a willingness to develop new skills.

A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

A sound understanding of standard forms of subcontract and contractual procedures.

Good IT and reporting skills.
