Renewals Advisor – Insurance Brokers – Poole – Circa £31,000 per annum
Carlton Young is delighted to be supporting a respected insurance broker based in Poole with the recruitment of a Renewals Advisor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, customer-service focus and meticulous attention to detail to join a dynamic team at an exciting stage of growth.
You will be responsible for preparing and managing all renewals activity from start to finish, delivering an outstanding service to clients and helping to maintain strong retention and client satisfaction. Key to success will be clear communication, accurate processing and the ability to build relationships over the phone and via email. The role includes:
* Handle and process all customer renewals accurately and in a timely manner.
* Liaise with clients via telephone and email to review renewal terms, answer queries and confirm their ongoing cover.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation within internal systems.
* Identify potential opportunities to enhance customer service, and where appropriate pass these to relevant colleagues.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless and professional renewal experience for clients.
* Adhere to compliance, regulatory and internal process requirements.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong telephone manner.
* Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
* Previous experience in customer service, renewals, administrative support or equivalent; insurance sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Comfortable working with multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy environment.
* Confident IT skills, with ability to use internal systems and manage documentation efficiently.
