Job Description

Sales Engineer – UK & Ireland

Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus 10% annual bonus

Our client is a specialist in their field, producing high-quality products for high profile clients at their manufacturing sites.

Summary:

  * Maintaining trusted relationships

  * Developing new opportunities

  * Managing commercial negotiations in co-ordination with Internal Teams (Industrial sites, Marketing, Supply Chain)

  * Managing customer requests, liaising with factories

Duties:

  * Manage and develop strategic customer relationships

  * Manage and grow the client portfolio, building customer trust and identifying new business opportunities

  * Support the definition and achievement of the sales budget for your scope

  * Lead contract negotiations in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing teams.

  * Ensure Internal conditions are met to deliver projects on time.

  * Collaborate closely with Customer Services teams to optimise client satisfaction

  * Handle customer complaints, objective and operational issues proactively

  * Report regularly on Sales activities to management and production sites

  * Conduct market monitoring and intelligence gathering to share relevant customer and industry insights

  * Gain in-depth product and technical expertise through hands-on experience at manufacturing sites

  * Develop a strategic, global commercial vision within a world-leading company

Skills required:

  * Previous Technical Sales Experience - minimum 5 years

  * Preference given to those from a Manufacturing background.

  * UK Sales and Account Management experience essential

  * Strong MS Office skills

  * Ability to travel – throughout the UK
