Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator / Planner to join a busy and well-established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and planning production work, interpreting technical drawings, and liaising closely with internal teams and customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical understanding and an eye for detail to develop their career within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Estimate production costs, materials, and resource requirements from detailed engineering drawings.
*
Produce accurate quotations and supporting production documentation using an ERP system (such as MIE Trak).
*
Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and provide professional, timely quotations.
*
Work closely with internal teams to resolve any technical or costing issues.
*
Support the planning and scheduling of work through the production process.
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Previous experience in an estimating, planning, or supervisory role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
*
Strong ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
*
Good computer literacy, ideally with experience using ERP/MRP systems.
*
Excellent communication skills and a confident, personable telephone manner.
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am – 12:30pm
