Job Description

Are you a science teacher looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent secondary school in Stevenage?

Do you enjoy inspiring students with engaging science lessons?

We are seeking an enthusiastic science teacher who can work full-time in a contracted role until Feburary half term or Easter.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their scientific knowledge and understanding.

This role is until Feburary 1/2 term or Easter.

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred; however, experience as an unqualified Science teacher within the United Kingdom will be looked upon very favourably.

You will need to:

  * 

    Work as a Science teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.

  * 

    Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

  * 

    Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.

  * 

    Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.

  * 

    Teach the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science curriculum.

Qualifications:

  * 

    Experience as a Science teacher within a secondary school.

  * 

    Qualified Teacher Status (preferred).

  * 

    Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum.

  * 

    Confidence in maintaining high standards of behaviour.

  * 

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  * 

    Ability to inspire and motivate students.
