The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop both academic confidence and a renewed belief in their own potential.
Working within small class sizes, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with learners and tailor your teaching to individual needs, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Support students with SEMH, behavioural and additional learning needs.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
• Monitor student achievement and contribute to individual learning plans.
• Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, families and external agencies.
• Promote high expectations, resilience and aspiration.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a teacher who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Is passionate about inclusive education.
• Can engage students who may have become disengaged from learning.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Has a resilient, empathetic and solution-focused approach.
• Believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed.
