Job Description

Job Title: Sales Development Team Leader Location: Manchester Salary: £35k to £37k base salary with 15k to 20k in commission (OTE = £50k to 57k) My client is an established IT Managed Services org based in Manchester Due to continued growth we are now looking for Sales Development Team Leader to deliver carefully researched and personalised outreach to a targeted set of prospect accounts, while managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR's). This position will suit a candidate who has 1 years experience in a telesales position; within an IT Managed Services organisation. The right candidate will be a self-starter who can take a set of target accounts and create personalised outreach engagements. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company's needs and tailor the outreach prospects in multiple different roles within the target account. We measure quality not quantity of engagement with our target accounts. The SDR Team Leader is tasked with following up inbound contact activities, leads generated from our marketing activities and initiating outbound contact for profiled prioritised prospect accounts. The SDR Team Leader will be tasked with outbound calling, email outreach and LinkedIn to set appointments, demos, and webinars for the sales team. You will also have responsibility overlooking and supporting the team to ensure they are meeting targets and contributing quality leads. The role reports into the Chief Growth Officer, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by a group of successful sales professionals. You will be tasked with the following: Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects. Convert Marketing Qualified Leads into appointments for the sales team Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales team. Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle. Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in (url removed) Execute personalised multi-channel (phone/ email/ LinkedIn) outreach to profiled prospects with the intention to set appointments, demos, webinars for the sales or pre-sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage Supporting the SDR's to prospect correctly, guide on different strategies to drive engagement and meetings. Cover off meetings booked on a bi-weekly basis with Chief Growth Officer.Person Specification This position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential. The intellectual horsepower to research markets, understand customer pain points and requirements; then identify how they can help the prospective client meet their goals Wants to progress within the next 12-18 months into an account management/new business position 1+ year of successful experience in telemarketing, preferably in high value technology solutions Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence Demonstrated success in prospecting within IT / Managed services Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with CRM applications, particularly (url removed) Bachelor's degree preferred
