Secondary Teaching Assistant - (November Start)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within a school's Hive Unit - a specialist provision designed to support students with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are reliable, patient, and eager to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

We're looking for candidates who:

Have experience supporting young people in a school or care environment (desirable but not essential)
Can communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students and staff
Are calm, empathetic, and confident supporting pupils who may need extra guidance or emotional support
Are enthusiastic about education and keen to learn new skills on the jobRole details:

Supporting secondary students within the Hive Unit on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Helping students regulate emotions, stay focused, and engage in learning
Working flexibly between general classroom support and targeted interventions
