Nurture Teacher – SEN School

KT24 | September 2026 Start | Full Time

An excellent SEN school in KT24 is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nurture Teacher for a September 2026 start.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH and communication difficulties, and is committed to providing a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment where every student can thrive.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and enjoys supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs through creative and personalised learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Deliver high-quality teaching within a nurture provision

  * Support pupils’ emotional regulation, communication and engagement

  * Plan differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP outcomes

  * Create a positive and structured classroom environment

  * Work closely with pastoral teams, therapists and parents

  * Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  * QTS or equivalent qualification

  * Experience within SEN, nurture or alternative provision settings

  * Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  * A calm, empathetic and flexible approach

  * A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
