We are seeking a patient, caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide personalised support, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop independence, and make strong progress both academically and emotionally.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, including those with learning difficulties, communication needs, ASD, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
Support pupils in developing communication, confidence, social skills and positive behaviour

Experience working with children with SEN
Understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with diverse learning or behavioural needs

As SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes well-being and independence
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
Work closely with teachers, SENDCo, and external agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality support
