Previous experience of working in a special needs setting or knowledge and understanding of special needs education is essential as the school are specifically looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who can work with pupils who have communication and interaction difficulties and other associated complex needs.

This SEND specialist setting based in Scunthorpe are a large inclusive school supporting students and pupils between the ages of 2 to 19 with wide ranging special educational needs including physical and medical needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and social communication difficulties and severe and profound learning difficulties.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
Previous experience of working in a special needs setting or knowledge and understanding
Have an understanding of KS1 to Ks5
Creating a supportive inclusive classroom setting where all students are given opportunities to thrive
Have excellent communication skills
Have a naturally calm, caring and nurturing nature
