A highly regarded specialist secondary school in North Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its welcoming and supportive team. The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for students across the school. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping pupils engage with learning, develop communication skills, and build confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with ASC, autism, and additional SEND needs
Deliver 1:1 and small-group SEN support
Assist with learning activities linked to EHCP targets
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development
Implement behaviour support strategies and sensory interventions
Encourage engagement through structured routines and clear communication
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staffWhat the School Offers
