Are you a patient, caring, and committed individual looking to make a real difference in a child’s life? We’re recruiting for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Edenbridge.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support children with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Your role will be to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students to access the curriculum and develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom

Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
*
Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
*
Monitor and report on student progress
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
*
A positive, proactive, and empathetic attitude
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
A willingness to learn and adapt
*
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
