SEN Teaching Assistant | Immediate Paid Trials | Full Time| RM3, East London Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Start: ASAP Contract: Full Time Location: RM3, East London Rate: £90 - £115 Per day Do you have ambitions to advance your career in education? Do you have what it takes to join our leading Mainstream Primary School? Do you enjoy supporting pupils academically and behaviourally? Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting KS1 pupils. This SEN Teaching Assistant role can be quite challenging as you will be working with challenging behaviour, ASD and SEMH students. You will be supporting this pupil in a sensory hub, where the child will be using (PECS) to improve their academic learning. There may be element of personal care as the student is wheelchair bound. SEN Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and independenceSEN Teaching Assistant Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
