Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver bespoke educational sessions for pupils with a range of needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties).
Assess learners' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families, and support staff.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and outcomes.
Collaborate with schools, local authorities, and parents to ensure effective support.
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
A teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE) or relevant tutoring/mentoring experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to learning.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
