We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a friendly & welcoming Special Educational Needs school based in the South Liverpool area for a full time role starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to positively impact the lives of pupils with additional needs while working within a caring & inclusive school environment.
The school supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of complex learning needs, and is seeking a dedicated teacher who can provide engaging learning experiences suited to each pupil’s needs.
The Role
* Help maintain a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
* Plan and deliver creative, adapted lessons for small groups of approximately 6–8 pupils
* Support pupils with SEMH needs, encouraging progress in both learning and emotional wellbeing
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
* Work within school hours of 8:30am–4:00pm, with timetabled teaching typically between 10:00am and 2:00pm
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has experience within SEND settings or a strong interest in specialist education
* Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs
