SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Small Primary School in Enfield seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant Enfield, North London Pay: £95 - £110 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent) About the Role: Vocational Recruitment is working in partnership with a small and welcoming primary school in Enfield to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2026. Interviews are taking place immediately. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 1 and Year 3 with additional needs. The role will involve working closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them access learning, manage routines, and develop positive relationships within the classroom environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children with ASD and be confident managing challenging behaviour using positive and consistent behaviour strategies. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
