 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
 Salary: £95 - £125 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield with a specialist provision for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Key Stage 2.

The provision offers a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, where each child receives tailored support through a curriculum designed to build academic skills, confidence, and independence. Pupils also benefit from opportunities to integrate into mainstream classes, assemblies, and school activities.

Your Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism

Encourage communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing

Support learning both in the specialist provision and mainstream settings

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to meet pupils' individual needs

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs

Empathetic, patient, and proactive approach

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
