A welcoming and ambitious primary school in the Rossendale area is seeking an outstanding SENDCO to lead and develop high-quality SEND provision across the school. The Role

As SENDCO, you will:

Lead and develop the school's SEND provision.
Provide guidance, support, and training to colleagues across the school.
Work closely with pupils, families, external agencies, and staff to ensure the best outcomes for children with additional needs.
Teach pupils within the school's inclusion provision.
Drive an inclusive culture where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience supporting pupils with SEND and emotional or behavioural needs.
Has a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and graduated approach.
Has experience coordinating SEND provision and working alongside senior leaders.
Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
Is reflective, resilient, and committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all pupils.
Holds, is working towards, or is willing to complete the NPQ SENCO qualification.
