Asbestos Analyst – Permanent Role

🔍 The Role

As an Asbestos Analyst, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring safety and compliance across a wide range of sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  * 

    Conducting air monitoring and airborne fibre counting

  * 

    Inspecting contractors’ remediation work, signing off successful removals or rejecting unsatisfactory ones as part of the 4SC process

  * 

    Collecting accurate site data via a phablet device, automatically generating reports through the client’s software

  * 

    Ensuring compliance with all relevant asbestos legislation and guidance (HSE, construction standards)

  * 

    Maintaining personal QHSE documentation and following internal assurance processes

  * 

    Delivering a professional, courteous service to clients, offering advice and interpretation where required

  * 

    Collaborating with clients, management, Technical Support, and fellow team members

👤 Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

  * 

    BOHS P403 & P404 (or equivalent RSPH qualifications/Certificate of Competence)

  * 

    Strong working knowledge of HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide

  * 

    A full UK manual driving licence

  * 

    Flexibility for travel and occasional out‑of‑hours work

  * 

    A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently or as part of a small team
