Responsibilities

As a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer, you will:

Repair, maintain, and service commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to ensure the efficient operation of commercial gas systems.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality services to council properties and facilities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Participate in overtime opportunities as required to meet project deadlines and client needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Valid commercial gas tickets (essential).
Ideally, an NVQ qualification or a strong engineering background.
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
A proactive and mission-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering excellence.
A full UK driving license.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

Traveling to various sites across Hertfordshire and North East London to carry out maintenance and repair tasks.
Diagnosing and resolving issues with commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Keeping detailed records of work completed and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Engaging with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
