The RoleAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.You will take ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion, working closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and specification of electrical building services (power, lighting, fire alarms, data/communications, security systems, etc.)
Manage projects from concept design through to detailed design and delivery
Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications
Attend and lead client meetings, offering technical guidance and solutions
Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
Coordinate with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
Ensure designs are compliant with relevant UK standards and regulations (BS7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations, etc.)
Contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design strategiesAbout You

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a building services consultancy environment
Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
Experience using industry software (e.g. Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit, AutoCAD)
Ideally working toward or already Chartered (CIBSE/IET)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlinesWhat We Offer
