Senior Site Engineer
Manchester
ASAP – 40 week duration
RC Frame

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering a major reinforced concrete frame project in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with a solid RC Frame background who is looking to take ownership of engineering and technical delivery on a large-scale construction scheme.

THE ROLE: 
Working closely with the Project Manager and Design Team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the concrete frame package from pre-construction through to completion.

DUTIES: 
•	Managing and coordinating all engineering aspects of the RC Frame works
•	Liaising directly with the design consultants, subcontractors, and site management team
•	Reviewing drawings, resolving technical queries, and ensuring buildability
•	Carrying out material take-offs and assisting with procurement requirements
•	Producing and reviewing technical calculations relating to concrete frame construction
•	Preparing and reviewing RAMS and method statements
•	Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications
•	Supporting programme delivery and maintaining site records
•	Mentoring junior engineers where required

REQUIREMENTS: 
•	Proven experience working on RC Frame projects
•	Previous experience as a Senior Engineer or Project Engineer on large construction schemes
•	Strong technical understanding of reinforced concrete structures
•	Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with design teams
•	Experience with material take-offs, temporary works, and engineering calculations
•	Knowledge of QA procedures, method statements, and site documentation
•	Excellent communication and organisational skills
•	Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
