Job Description

Senior Facilities Engineer required in Tewkesbury, working within a manufacturing environment. Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts (06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30) 20% shift allowance on late shift. This role offers a permanent opportunity with strong earning potential upwards of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, plus overtime at premium rates.

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production site offering long-term stability, ongoing investment, and a key role supporting site operations.

The Role
Working as a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining site services including HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and utilities
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
Supporting infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects
Managing contractors, permits to work, and ensuring compliance
Monitoring facility performance and minimising downtime
Working closely with production and engineering teams
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance recordsCandidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have strong facilities or maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in facilities or maintenance engineering within manufacturing
Strong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge
Experience with PPM systems and maintenance planning
Knowledge of contractor management and compliance processes
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Good understanding of health & safety regulationsShift Pattern & Pay

Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 – £20.00 – £22.00 per hour
Mid Shift: 14:00 – 22:30 – 20% shift allowance (£24.00 – £26.40 per hour)
Overtime: Paid at a premium rate after 40 hoursWhat’s on Offer:
