Company Overview:

A well established and growing passive fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Stopping Engineer to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects across the South East, including student accommodation, healthcare facilities, care homes, and other complex environments. The Role

As a Senior Fire Stopping Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out high quality fire stopping installations, remediation works, surveys, and inspections across multiple project sites.

You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations while supporting project delivery through accurate reporting, surveying, and assisting with quotations where required.

Senior Fire Stopping Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  * Carry out fire stopping installations and remedial works to the highest standards

  * Complete passive fire protection surveys and assessments

  * Inspect existing fire stopping installations and identify non-compliant works

  * Install and maintain a variety of fire stopping systems, including batt and mastic, fire barriers, and compounds

  * Assist with producing quotations and recommendations for remedial works

  * Accurately record completed works using digital reporting systems

  * Ensure all works comply with current industry regulations and best practices

  * Work across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout the South East

  * Liaise with clients, site teams, and management to ensure successful project delivery

  * Maintain excellent health and safety standards at all times

Senior Fire Stopping Engineer Skills & Experience:

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  * A minimum of 3 years' experience within the passive fire protection industry

  * NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection

  * Valid CSCS Card

  * Proven experience with batt and mastic, fire barriers, and fire-resistant compounds

  * Fire stopping surveying and inspection experience

  * Experience assisting with quotations and remedial recommendations

  * Knowledge of third-party accreditation standards, including BM TRADA

  * Experience using digital reporting systems such as One Trace

  * Strong communication and organisational skills

  * A full, clean UK driving licence

  * Willingness to travel throughout the South East as required
