Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Oxfordshire
• Up to £80,000 + Package
• January 2026
• Permanent
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by a principal contractor for a variety of construction projects in Oxford and the surrounding areas.
This is a fine opportunity to join an established business with a proven record of delivering a spectrum of projects including residential, commercial, education and retail.
Responsibilities include:
• Procuring & negotiating subcontract packages
• Placing subcontract orders,
• Carrying out subcontractor valuations,
• Authorising subcontractor payments including issuing all relevant notices
• Managing & controlling variations
• Issuing all relevant notices as deemed necessary to both subcontractors and client
• Final account settlements
Skills and Attributes Required
• Minimum of 10 years' quantity surveying experience
• Able to demonstrate proven experience with a principal contractor.
• Degree in Quantity Surveyor and / or MCIOB
This position is known as Commercial Lead, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager.
