About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to take a key role in delivering professional surveying services while helping strengthen the practice’s valuation offering. This role is ideal for a capable surveyor who is confident handling a broad range of building surveying instructions, while also bringing strong experience in valuation surveying.
You will work across a variety of property types, delivering high-quality reports, managing client relationships, and ensuring work is carried out with precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake valuation surveys across residential and commercial property
* Deliver a range of building surveying services including dilapidations, condition surveys, defect diagnosis, planned maintenance, and schedules of works
* Produce high-quality written reports with accuracy and clear recommendations
* Provide expert technical advice to clients and maintain strong ongoing relationships
* Manage projects from instruction through to completion
* Support junior colleagues and contribute to the wider growth of the practice
About the Requirements
MRICS qualified (Valuation or Building Surveying pathway)
Proven experience in valuation surveying is essential
Strong technical knowledge across core building surveying services
Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills
Confident working independently and managing your own workload
Client-focused, detail-driven, and committed to professional standards
