Are You an Senior Surveyor in Building Disrepair Cases?
Are you a seasoned Building Surveyor with extensive experience in legal disrepair and a track record of dealing with Complex cases? Do you want to step into a role where your technical knowledge and courtroom reports drive meaningful change?

The Role: Lead Surveyor
Moxie is proud to be working with a forward-thinking housing association in Hampshire, seeking a Lead Surveyor to take charge of disrepair claims. You'll represent the organisation in legal matters, including court appearances. This is a key role for someone with both technical credibility and the presence to influence.
Day-to-Day:
Represent the organisation as an Expert Witness in court.
Prepare Part 35-compliant expert reports.
Manage legal disrepair claims in line with the Pre-Action Protocol.
Conduct and oversee detailed technical inspections and defect analysis.
Resolve complex disputes and support legal teams with expert insights.
What You'll Need:
Building Degree MCIOB (or equivalent experience) or RICS
Proven experience acting as an expert witness in disrepair for Social housing
In-depth knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regulations, Planning Permission, and Asbestos compliance.
Strong understanding of disrepair legislation and housing conditions protocol.
Full UK driving license.
