Senior Teaching Assistant – SEND / SEMH Setting
Location: Aylesbury
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract: 32.5 hours per week, Term-Time Only
Salary: £30361 - £32594 (FTE) [Pro-rata: approximately £22719 - £24390]

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Teaching Assistant to join a passionate team. In this role, you will:

    Support teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences for pupils with ASC and SEMH needs.
  * 
    Build positive relationships with students, fostering confidence and engagement.
  * 
    Contribute to a safe and structured learning environment.
  * 
    Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing (enhanced DBS required).
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  * 
    Has a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
  * 
    Has extensive experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  * 
    Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
  * 
    Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  * 
    Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  * 
    Has experience or qualifications in SEND or SEMH settings (desirable, but enthusiasm and commitment are key).
