The Role
Too support property managers with administrative duties, including coordinating maintenance, managing tenant queries, and ensuring properties are compliant.
Key responsibilities include scheduling repairs, liaising with tenants and contractors, managing databases and property records, and handling compliance tasks like safety checks and certifications.
Core responsibilities
* Maintenance coordination:
* Scheduling and coordinating routine and cyclical maintenance jobs.
* Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and tenants regarding repairs.
* Logging and tracking the progress of maintenance from start to finish.
* Database and record management:
* Updating and maintaining property management software and databases.
* Ensuring all property details, records, and documents are up to date.
* Compiling property inventories and other reports.
* Compliance and administration:
* Organising and recording health and safety checks, such as gas safety certificates and fire risk assessments.
* Maintaining records for legal and statutory requirements.
* Processing invoices for work completed.
* Assisting with general administrative tasks for the property department.
Key skills and qualifications
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with various parties.
* Proficiency with property management software and standard office software.
* A good understanding of property compliance and legal requirements is often required.
* Experience in a similar role or the lettings industry can be beneficial.
