Service Manager
Location: Scarborough
Salary: Up to £38,000 basic + bonus | OTE £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday – No weekends

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to join our client’s main dealership in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a well-established automotive group that operates nationwide. You’ll be responsible for managing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring a high standard of customer service, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Lead and manage a team of Service Advisors and support staff to ensure a seamless aftersales experience
Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, resolving queries quickly and effectively
Oversee workshop performance, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
Analyse department performance and implement improvements to drive growth and productivity
Ensure full compliance with manufacturer and company standards, including health & safety and quality control
Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external partnersRequirements:
Previous experience in a main dealership service environment is essential
Strong background in aftersales or service management, ideally with experience in workshop control
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure, with a hands-on, proactive approach
