About the Role
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving operational excellence within a service role? This is your chance to join a highly regarded organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping responsive, locally focused services.
As Service Manager, you'll lead a team of Planners and Trade Supervisors, ensuring repairs and maintenance services run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be the driving force behind meeting KPIs, reducing travel time, improving first-time fixes, and delivering outstanding customer experiences for residents and stakeholders.
A key element of the role is managing and motivating a team, providing clear objectives, direction and leadership, ensuring the values and culture of the organisation is embedded between teams and values and behaviours are continuously promoted and practiced within the team.
What You'll Do
Manage and motivate a high-performing team, embedding company values and culture.
Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource optimisation for operatives and subcontractors.
Be the "face of repairs" in your area, building strong relationships with residents and tenant bodies.
Drive service delivery to meet or exceed KPIs and contractual obligations.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, budget control, and operational standards.
Lead cultural change from technical compliance to resident satisfaction.What We're Looking For
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Knowledge of social housing building maintenance.
Experience with workforce scheduling systems and data analysis.
Positive, proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
