Job Description
Site Manager – EV Hub Project (Hull)
Pay: £300 per shift
Start Date: January 2026 (potential early mobilisation in December 2025)
Duration: Approx. 10 weeks
Location: Hull
We’re delivering a new EV Charging Hub in Hull as part of a national rollout of clean-energy infrastructure. Works include installation of multiple EV chargers, a new HV substation and LV pillars, and associated civils – excavation, bases, ducting, lighting columns, and resurfacing.
Ideal for a Civils-biased Site Manager used to running fast-paced, multi-discipline sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all site activities ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate civils, electrical, and reinstatement works
• Enforce CDM and H&S compliance
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate site documentation and progress reports
• Monitor programme, costs, and quality throughout
Requirements:
• SMSTS certification
• CSCS Gold Card or equivalent
• First Aid at Work – Level 3
• Understanding of CDM and Principal Contractor duties
• Experience in EV, power, or civils infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office and digital site tools
Preferred but not essential: IOSH Managing Safely, UKPIA / Safety Passport, CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator
You’ll be joining a strong pipeline of EV and power projects nationwide, with a clear focus on safety, delivery, and professional site management.
Rate: £300 per shift
Duration: 10 weeks
Location: Hull
Start: January 2026 (early start possible December 2025)
