Job Description
Busy and highly respected Commercial Main Contractor are looking for an experienced Site Manager in Edinburgh.
The business specialises in commercial projects, including Education, Heritage, Conservation & Commercial with project values around £2m to £7m. They are well-established and have received significant financial backing, providing a strong platform for continued expansion.
The first project you would be based on is the conversion of a heritage building into a high-quality hotel in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising site activity and managing subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements
Supporting planning and sequencing of works with the Project Manager
Managing quality control and maintaining accurate records
Coordinating trades and ensuring progress in line with the programme
Delivering high standards on a complex heritage conversion
About You
5 to 10 years Site Management/Foreman experience
Successful completion of multiple commercial projects
Ideally experience across both refurbishment and new build
Strong understanding of site-based H&S and best practices
Hold current SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with subcontractors and trades
The company is going through an exciting growth phase and foresee this role progressing into Project Manager ( if this is a path you wanted to go down)
