Job Description
Late shift: 4.00pm. – 02.00am Monday – Thursday
My client in Birmingham, are a privately owned specialist engineering business trading on a global basis, supplying precision machined components to the aerospace, energy, medical and rail sectors.
Their strength is the ability to engineer and manufacture highly complex machined components in a wide range of materials both hard & soft utilizing all necessary techniques.
Through growth, we are looking for an experienced Sliding Head Turner (Setting and Operating) to join the team on a permanent basis.
Duties
* Set and operate sliding head machines - Star and Traub sliding head machinery
* Work to drawing and quality documentation.
* Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all timesBefore You Apply
