Purpose of the Role
We're looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and test software that meets both customer and business needs.
You'll be responsible for your work from start to finish - from understanding what's needed, through development and testing, to making sure it works well in the final system.
What You'll Do
Write and maintain code that meets company and customer standards.
Test and integrate your software with other parts of the system to make sure everything works together smoothly.
Record and track issues you find so they can be fixed and monitored.
Take part in team planning and design sessions to share ideas and improve designs.
Review other people's code and have yours reviewed to keep quality high.
Work closely with stakeholders (people who rely on the software) to make sure what you build matches what they need.
Join in daily and weekly team check-ins (like stand-ups or sprint meetings) to make sure everyone's on track.
Technical Skills
Have hands-on experience coding in advanced C++ and solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Know how to use Git for version control (keeping track of changes to code).
Have experience testing and integrating code into larger systems.
Are comfortable working through the full software lifecycle - from design to delivery.
The Work Environment
You'll be part of a collaborative development team working on high-quality software.
