Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician with Solar PV qualifications to join our growing network of renewable energy professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Install and commission solar PV systems safely and efficiently
*
Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and fault-finding
*
Work with DC and AC electrical systems
*
Ensure compliance with current IEE Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
*
Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and customers
*
Maintain accurate site documentation and installation records
Requirements
✅ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
✅ City & Guilds 2399 or equivalent Solar PV qualification
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ ECS or JIB Gold Card preferred
💡 Additional certifications such as PASMA, IPAF, or Working at Height are advantageous
Desirable Experience

Previous experience in solar PV installations (domestic or commercial)
*
Knowledge of battery storage systems and inverters
*
Strong understanding of health and safety on siteBefore You Apply
