Spanish Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role (January 2026 Start)
Applicants must be native or fully fluent Spanish speakers
A welcoming secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint a dedicated Spanish Teaching Assistant from January 2026. This full-time position will continue until July 2026, supporting the Modern Foreign Languages department across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
To be considered, you must be a native Spanish speaker or possess complete fluency in written and spoken Spanish.
In this role, you will work alongside class teachers to support students during Spanish lessons, helping to maintain a positive, focused learning atmosphere. The school is known for strong leadership, excellent behaviour, and high academic achievement.
What We're Looking For
Native Spanish speaker or fully fluent Spanish user
Enthusiasm for supporting secondary learners
Ability to follow guidance from class teachers and the SENCo
Interest in teaching or education pathways (beneficial but not essential)
Key Duties
Supporting students during Spanish lessons and classroom activities
Assisting teachers with set tasks and learning materials
Providing support to students with SEND
Remaining flexible, reliable, and proactive throughout the school day
