SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an experienced Special Needs Teacher for a dedicated Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) attached to a welcoming primary school in Barnet, North London. This specialist provision supports a small cohort of around 10 pupils in key stage 2 with Autism, ADHD, language and communication difficulties, and a range of additional learning needs.
This role is ideal for a passionate teacher with experience in special needs schools, SEND classrooms, or ARP settings, who is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with SEND.
The Role - SEN Teacher (KS1 / Autism / ARP)
Plan and deliver high-quality, personalised learning for around 9 KS2 pupils with Autism and ADHD
Support pupils' communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development
Work alongside and manage two experienced LSAs providing clear direction and support
Work with the SENDCo, parents, therapists, and external agencies to create tailored provision
Adapt teaching and planning to meet a wide range of abilities and needs
Foster a calm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
About You - What We're Looking For:
Teachers with experience teaching in a special needs setting, ARP, SEND school, or specialist provision
Are flexible, proactive, and genuinely passionate about SEN education
Communicate confidently with staff, families, and external professionals
Can motivate, inspire, and support pupils through patience, creativity, and consistency
