Job Description
Osenka recruitment are looking for experienced Steel Fixers to join our team on a busy commercial site. You'll play a key role in reinforcing concrete by fabricating and installing steel reinforcements according to technical drawings and construction specifications.
Duties:
*
Reading and interpreting construction drawings
*
Cutting, bending, and tying steel bars and mesh
*
Assembling prefabricated reinforcements
*
Ensuring reinforcement is positioned and secured correctly before concrete pour
*
Working closely with site supervisors and adhering to all site safety standards
Location: trowbridge
Pay Rate: negotiable
Start Date: 21/07/2025
Duration: 6 months
Hours: Monday – Friday – 07:30–17:00
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on commercial projects
*
CSCS Card (Essential)
*
Ability to read technical drawings and bar bending schedules
*
Own tools and PPE
*
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
*
Reliable and punctual
