Overview of the role:
To lead the Provision of a Stores function; responsible for delivering and overseeing the purchase and supply of all materials and equipment, monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock ranges and levels plus the related quality control, as well as ensuring accurate, electronic records are created and maintained for ALL stock movement and external transactions (either via stores (internal and external requests) or van stock).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervision, general management and co-ordination of Storekeeper/ Administrators, including assignment of daily duties to ensure continuity of service delivery during all operational hours.
To liaise with the Senior Operations Manager and service Team Leaders to advise/ agree the product range held in stock and the required availability for managing programming work.
To support Corporate Procurement officers in providing product information and usage data to be used in developing supply chain procurement/Contract arrangements (Including the use of Frameworks). to monitor supply chain pricing and collate data for use by the Operational Manager in ensuring the Council's delivery specifications and requirements are met.
