Location: Gloucester
Job Title: Student Mentor
Pay and working hours:
* Per hour: £16.80
* Working hours: 30-37 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver PSHE Student Development sessions to students and support with pastoral wellbeing.
*
Support students with goal setting, time management, and motivation
*
Help students develop strategies to overcome personal and academic challenges
*
Liaise with teaching staff and support services to ensure coordinated support
*
Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
*
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or mentoring capacity
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach
*
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain confidentiality
*
Organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Experience within safeguarding and wellbeing
*
Relevant qualifications or training in mentoring, counselling, or youth work are a plus
