GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Subject Specialist to join a vibrant school in Chesterfield. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students’ academic progress and contribute to a positive school culture.
Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:
Deliver targeted support in your subject area to pupils across various year groups.
Assist with lesson planning, resource creation, and in-class learning activities.
Provide focused intervention sessions to assist learners in achieving their academic goals.
Evaluate and report on student progress and collaboration with teaching staff.
Encourage academic curiosity and support positive student engagement.
Requirements for Subject Specialist:
Strong subject knowledge and a background in supporting students.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Adaptability and a proactive, student-focused attitude.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
